The Challenge

Initially, when I started Cup of Parenting, the parenting site on Kajabi owned by Aisha Abdul in the UK, I noticed that the site had visibility issues. None of the focus keywords were appearing in Google SERPs, and a lot of the organic impressions were 5-10 per day. The client required an SEO strategy to fix technical issues and create sustainable growth.

The Solution

I began with a complete technical SEO audit to pinpoint problem areas. In the first month, I handled technical issues like images loading slowly and missing meta tags. I also implemented SEO friendly titles and descriptions on every page and improved on page SEO.

Then the link building mobilization began with Web 2.0 articles, classified submissions, and quality backlinks to develop domain authority. At the same time, I was also continuing content improvements to have the keywords integrated and relatively organic.

The Results

We saw results very quickly. The first month saw the keywords "dua for exam" and "importance of parent talks" make it into the top 5, and the third month reported a massive jump from 5-10 per day to 5000-8000 per day.

  • Keyword Rankings: Within a time frame of 2 months, the majority of the 17 keywords began ranking on the first page. By the third month all of the targeted keywords were ranking well, many even reached the #1 position on the Google search results page.
